A few words about Torry's Delphi Pages
Q: Why did you decide to name your web site Torry's Delphi Pages? Who is Torry? A: When we started to prepare our site, we decided to make it a web site "with human face", to place somebody behind the scene. My children proposed this name and we agreed. Torry is my Old English Sheepdog. She is four years old and has already had nine puppies (of course, they are also two years old).
Q: How long has Torry's Delphi Pages been running? A: Since 18 November 1996. Now every day more than 7000 developers visit the Primary site and mirrors and view more than 30,000 pages. And we're very glad to meet them here :-)))
Q: Why did you decide to have a web site about Delphi? A: Torry's started as private collection of components for our own needs and, after three or four months, we decided that such a collection would be useful for most of Delphi programers. All that I can say, is that, if I only could imagine that it will require about two-three hours every day, I'd never make another site like this again :-)))
Q: Does anyone else help you with Torry's Delphi Pages? A: There is a strong team of good friends. We started Torry's with Victor Gvozdev (he left us due to family problems after half a year - his second son was born) and Vitaly Nasonov, on whose laboratory site Torry's had been located for 1.5 years.
