Description
EZMapProjection is a coordinate and map projection conversion library. EZMapProjection uses the EZProjection dynamic link library, suitable for all Windows programmers. Although EZMapProjection is a Delphi 6 and C++ Builder 6 component, it can be easily be translated to Visual Basic, C++, PowerBuilder, and other Windows development tools.EZMapProjection can convert between 75 UTM ellipsoids, 224 local UTM's (Molodensky) and 23 national grid's coordinates.
Besides coordinate conversion, EZMapProjection can link map position to geographic coordinates using 65 projection transformations. All projections can be reverse calculated to compute a map position from any geographic coordinate. An additional feature is the capabillity to compute the projection transformation constants, used to define a map, from reference points. This makes the usage of an undefined map less time consuming..
EZMapProjection can also calculate geographic distances, endpoints and flight courses for airplains, taking wind factors in account.
