GLScene v.1.1FWS 38083 k 22 Sep 2010
By GLScene. GLScene is an OpenGL based 3D library for Delphi. It provides visual components and objects allowing description and rendering of 3D scenes in an easy, no-hassle, yet powerfull manner.

GLScene is not just an OpenGL wrapper or utility library, it has grown to become a set of founding classes for a generic 3D engine with Rapid Application Development in mind. GLScene allows you to quickly design and render 3D scenes without having to learn the intricacies of OpenGL, if you know how to design a TForm, you'll easily master the basic operations of TGLScene. The library comes with a large collections of demos showcasing the ease of use, and demonstrating RAD wasn't done at the expense of CPU/GPU horsepower.

MNOgl Component Collection v.1.0FW 407 k 19 Dec 2000
By MINAIS individual cad software. With this collection developers are easily able to build OpenGL applications completly with components and see the results already in design mode. Lighten up scenes, animate shapes or whole scenes or give elements the ability of textures are only a few points of possibilities developers will have with these new components.

MNOgl components collection as an ActiveX library (ocx based) also available.

MyEngine v.2008.2.20FW 770 k 25 Feb 2008
By Georgy Moshkin. Main features:
  • precomputed Collision Detection data using OpenGL hardware z-buffer (CDNR2)
  • software skinning mesh animation with skeleton bone weights support
  • mesh exporting script for Blender 3D 2.45 (skeletal animation & static objects)
Examples included: skeletal animation example demonstrates horse 3d model by Damien McGinnes, collision detection example demonstrates 3d level by katbits. Basic idea of collision detection example: we are using many glReadPixels captured z-buffer images to represent 3D scene as 2d-layers of height data (pre-rendered). In this way we can use easy and fast 2d collision detection and response algorithms in full featured 3d world (3d-to-2d and 2d-to-3d).

Signsoft VisIt v.4.5SW 12073 - 12553 k 15 Jul 2006
By Signsoft GmbH. Signsoft VisIt is a collection of components for 3D graphics and animation. It includes components to support software developers and provides special solutions in the field of 3d graphics.

Signsoft VisIt offers an object-oriented access to the OpenGL-API using VCL-components. Besides, the state sort tasks are packed in powerful classes so the developer can concentrate on the real tasks. Any implemented classes that can easily take on special tasks can extend the components. However, for an OpenGL-expert it is still possible to integrate Open-GL-instructions directly.

TOpenGL FWS 65 k 27 Oct 1999
By Alan Garny. Encapsulates all the complexity that can result in using OpenGL. In other words, all the hassle of dealing with the pixel format, the GL context, etc. is hidden by this component. The only thing that needs to be done is to handle a few events: OnGLInit, OnGLPaint and the classical OnResize. On top of that, two extra facilities are available. The first one allows to print out the rendered scene, while the second can save it into a bitmap.

  Problem Solving with Delphi
This title includes a book and a CD. The purpose of the book is to use Delphi as a vehicle to introduce some fundamental algorithms and to illustrate several mathematical and problem-solving techniques. This book is therefore intended to be more of a reference for problem-solving, with the solution expressed in Delphi. It introduces a somewhat eclectic collection of material, much of which will not be found in a typical book on Pascal or Delphi. Many of the topics have been used by the author over a period of about ten years at Bond University, Australia in various subjects from 1993 to 2003. Much of the work was connected with a data structures subject (second programming course) conducted variously in MODULA-2, Oberon and Delphi, at Bond University, however there is considerable other, more recent material, e.g., a chapter on Sudoku. more... more...
