• Hardware informations from Bios (should be at least partially available on all systems which support smbios but it depends on hardware producer):
• Bios informations: vendor, version, date, smbios version, smbios revision, all ROM BIOS memory.
• System informations: model, manufacture, serial, UUID.
• Mainboard informations: model, serial, manufacture, version.
• CPU informations: name, socket name, manufacture, vendor, ID, frequency, external frequency.
• System slots (like ISA, PCI, AGP and so on): slot count, name for each slot and its usage (whether there is something in it or not)
• Memory modules informations: memory module count and size of memory installed in every socket and the name of each socket.
• Memory devices informations: memory devices count and sizes of every memory devices installed, device locator and bank locator name (its like memory modules but newer)
• HDDs informations: hdd count, model, serial, revision and memory cache for all physical drives (not volumes like c, d,.. but physical drives) (this information can be available for only one hdd when there are no admin lows and there are more than one SATA or SCSI drives installed on the system), and on nt systems with admin lows: heads count, tracks per cylinder, sectors per track, bytes per sector, cylinder count, nominal size in GB, real size in GB, size in bytes.

In version 1.3 one bug found and corrected. It is the hdds detection on Vista systems. Now it should work properly with admin privilege and with UAC turned off or application must be "run as administrator".

MagWMI which allows access and update of windows system information using Windows Management Instrumentation. MagWMI provides general view access to any WMI information using SQL like commands, and also a number of dedicated function relating to TCP/IP configuration, such as setting the adaptor IP addresses, and the computer name and domain/workgroup. There are also some examples for getting BIOS and disk drive information using WMI, and also a method using SMART for getting disk information since WMI has limitations on Windows 2000. SMART also returns disk failing or fault information. For disks that don't support SMART, SCSI Pass Through is used to get the drive serial number.

A demo program illustrates the use of all the functions.
